How to resolve

To resolve this check, you need to create a monitoring alert on your Azure account for Redis client connections. Take the below steps to create an alert:

Before you begin

  • Ensure you have “Admin” access on the Azure account for which you want to create an alert.

  • Log in on Sprinto as administrator.

Creating monitoring alert

  1. Log in to the Azure portal using your credentials.

  2. Navigate to the Azure Cache for the Redis resource you want to monitor.

  3. In the left-hand menu, under Monitoring, select Metric.

  4. Leave the metric namespace as is, and select the Connected Clients as metric.

  5. From the top side, click New Alert Rule.

  6. On the Configuration Signal Logic drawer, select an Aggregation type and set the customer environment-specific threshold value. Note: The Aggregation type can be selected per your environment. You can choose Average as the Aggregation type if you have no preference.

  7. From the Create Alert Rule window, on the Details tab, set the approximate alert rule name.
