Use Ask AI
Ask AI lets you ask questions and run AI actions directly within entity records in Sprinto.
Ask AI is Sprinto’s contextual assistant. It appears inside entity records (for example, Policies, Risks, Vendors, or Staff) and lets you either:
Ask natural-language questions about the record.
Run available AI actions that you or your Admins have created in the AI Playground.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, make sure that:
You have a Sprinto account.
Admins have created or enabled AI actions in the Playground.
You are viewing a supported entity (such as Policy, Risk, Vendor, Staff).
Open Ask AI
Open an entity record, such as a Policy.
Select Sprinto AI from the top-right of the record view.
The Ask AI drawer opens.
Ask a question
Enter your question in the text field.
Example: “Summarise this policy for auditors.”
Sprinto AI responds in the context of the current record.
You can ask follow-up questions, and the context is remembered while the session is active.
Run an AI action
In the Ask AI drawer, view the List of Actions.
Select an action to run it against the record.
The result is shown inline in the drawer.
If no actions are available for that entity, Ask AI shows a message. You can request your Admin to create actions in the Playground.
Review results and feedback
Results are displayed inline for review.
Each response includes a thumbs up or thumbs down option. Use this to share feedback and improve accuracy.
If something goes wrong, Ask AI displays an error message with the option to try again.
