How_to_Add_Workflow_Checks
About:
The following procedure describes adding a new workflow check on Sprinto. You can add a workflow check through the dedicated “Workflow check” section on the Sprinto app and also from the various sections like Vendors, Access, Device, etc.
Note: The following procedure shows adding a workflow check through the workflow check section of the Sprinto app.
Prerequisites:
Logged in on Sprinto as an administrator.
Procedure:
Step 1. Navigate to Security Hub > Workflow check.
Note: If this is the first time you are setting up any workflow check on Sprinto, you can find the most commonly used workflow checks under the “Get started from templates” section. Click on Find more templates to find more workflow checks applicable to various sections of the Sprinto app.
Step 2. Click on +Add workflow check.
Step 3. Select the workflow check you want to configure from the add workflow checks page, then click on Enable.
Note: You can click on the categories from the navigation sidebar to explore the workflow checks associated with each category.
Step 4. On add workflow check page, review the workflow check details.
Step 5. If required, click on Edit to update the following details for the workflow check:
Workflow Check Parameter
Description
Description
A brief description of the workflow check, its purpose, and its requirement.
Instruction
Detailed instructions to run the workflow check and potential evidence to pass the respective workflow check.
Activates on
Activation date for the workflow check.
Frequency (Runs every)
Define the period for the respective workflow check to activate.
Assigned to
The assigned stakeholder to run the workflow check.
Review required
Enable the option if the submitted evidence needs a review.
Reviewer
Assign the reviewer to the respective workflow check to review the submitted evidence.
Step 6. Click on Enable check.
Result:
On successfully activating the workflow check, you can find the activated workflow check on Security Hub > Workflow checks > Active section.
