# Review Device Status and Check History (Dr. Sprinto)

When Sprinto’s native MDM tool, **Dr. Sprinto**, is configured, you can monitor the reporting status of staff devices directly from the Sprinto dashboard. This article explains how to check which staff members have reported their device status, view failed checks, and take corrective action as an admin.

***

### Before You Begin

Ensure that:

* Dr. Sprinto is already configured as the MDM tool in **Staff Devices**.
* Staff members have installed and used the Dr. Sprinto app to share device status.
* You are logged in to the Sprinto admin portal with appropriate access rights.

***

### View Unreported Devices

To track which staff have not yet reported their device:

1. Navigate to **Data Library > Staff Devices**.

2. Click on the MDM provider you wish to view.
3. View the list of staff who have not submitted their device status.

Each staff member will be assigned a reporting status:

<table><thead><tr><th width="123.42578125">Status</th><th width="428.2734375">Description</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td><strong>Passing</strong></td><td>Device health status has been successfully reported.</td></tr><tr><td><strong>Due</strong></td><td>Reporting is pending and due in more than 7 days.</td></tr><tr><td><strong>Critical</strong></td><td>Reporting is due within the next 7 days.</td></tr><tr><td><strong>Failing</strong></td><td>Reporting deadline has passed; no submission made.</td></tr></tbody></table>

Use these labels to prioritise follow-ups and send reminders.
{% endhint %}

### Take Action on Failing Checks

If any check is failing:

1. Communicate the failure to the staff member directly.
2. Ask the staff member to:
   * Update their device settings (for example, enable screen lock, antivirus and so on)
   * Re-open the **Dr. Sprinto app** and click **Rescan**
   * Return to the Employee Portal and click **Fetch** again
3. If the issue persists, request manual evidence upload against the failing check.

***

### Device History and Monitoring

* Use the **Monitoring** tab to view all device-related checks, responsible staff, and outcomes.
* You can filter by failing status, check owner, or reporting method (Dr. Sprinto, MDM, Manual).
* Use this dashboard to track overall device compliance health across your organisation.

***

### What You Can Do

* Export staff device status reports for audits.
* Spot trends in failing checks (e.g. encryption issues on older devices).
* Remind staff with upcoming deadlines to rescan and report.
