AI Playground - Create and Configure AI Actions
Learn how to create and configure AI actions in Sprinto Playground to automate compliance tasks.
The AI Playground is where Sprinto Admins create and configure AI actions. These actions help automate compliance tasks, such as summarising a policy or highlighting risks in a vendor questionnaire.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, make sure that:
You have an active Sprinto account.
You have Admin access. Only Admins can create and deploy AI actions.
You know the entity you want to build an action for (for example, Policy, Risk, Vendor, Staff).
Create a new AI action
Log in to the Sprinto dashboard, select AI Playground from the left navigation. The page shows Sprinto-defined actions (pre-built) and your custom actions.
Select Create action in the top-right corner. A drawer opens where you can describe the action you want.
Enter a short description of the task. For example, “Summarise complex policy documents into a clear overview for employees.”
Choose how to configure the action:
Configure with AI – Sprinto uses your description to generate the setup.
Configure manually – You define all details yourself.
If you use Configure with AI, Sprinto prepares the action automatically. Once ready, you see the configuration screen.
Complete the details:
Name – Enter a descriptive name for the action.
Entity – Select the type of record the action applies to (for example, Policy, Risk, Vendor).
Action output – Choose Display results.
Instructions – Enter specific guidance for the AI to follow.
Select Deploy to make the action live. The action now appears in AI Playground and in Ask AI for the selected entity.
