Report_an_Incident_Ticket_(Sprinto)

The following procedure describes about how to report an incident ticket when you have choose the Sprinto as your incident ticket management solution:

Prerequisites:

  • Logged in on Sprinto’s employee portal

  • Manual incident ticket reporting is configured, refer to

Configure Sprinto for Incident Ticket Management

Procedure:

Step 1: Click on Report Incident.

Step 2: Click on Report an incident.

Step 3: Fill the below mentioned details:

  • Incident title: Provide a descriptive and concise title for the incident.

  • Incident severity: Select the appropriate level of severity from the drop-down menu based on the type of incident. The available options are Low, Medium, and High.

  • Incident description: Provide a brief but comprehensive description of the incident, including details such as the source of occurrence, data loss, security breach, or any other relevant information. This will aid in later analysis of the incident.

Step 4: Once you filled all the necessary information about the incident, click on Report an incident.

Result:

On successful reporting of incident, you can see the incident ticket created under the Sprinto tab.
