How_To_Manually_Trigger_The_Workflow_Check

The following procedure describes triggering a workflow check manually. Manual triggering is helpful when a workflow check needs to be run before the upcoming workflow check activation date.
Note: When you manually trigger and run the workflow check, the next scheduled time for the respective workflow check changes based on the periodic frequency defined for the workflow check.
Prerequisites:
Logged in on Sprinto as an administrator.
A workflow check is added and configured. Refer to

Note: You can only trigger the workflow checks already in "Passing" status.
Procedure:
Step 1. Navigate to Security Hub > Workflow checks.
Step 2. Ensure that you are on the Active tab.
Step 3. Select the workflow check that you want to trigger and run. Ensure the workflow check in “Passing” status.
Note: Use the filters to find the relevant workflow check.
Step 4. On the workflow check page, click on Trigger Now.
Note: You cannot trigger the workflow check if the evidence review is pending from the last run.
Step 5. On the workflow check page, do the following steps:
Select the evidence recording date.
Select one of the following options to submit the evidence:
File: Select this option to upload the file from your computer. Click on Upload Evidence to upload the evidence.
Link: Select this option if you’ve stored the evidence in cloud storage and want to submit it through a shareable link. Paste the shareable link in the text field.
Click on Finish.
Result:
On successfully running the workflow, check the checks remains in "Passing" status. The previously uploaded evidence gets overwritten when triggering a check and running it.
