Infrastructure

Monitor and secure your cloud infrastructure by integrating, classifying, and assessing systems within Sprinto's Infrastructure section.

Introduction

The Infrastructure section helps you continuously monitor and secure your organisation’s cloud infrastructure. By integrating your infrastructure service providers with Sprinto, you can detect misconfigurations, assign responsibility, classify assets, and run compliance checks in line with your selected framework.

This section provides a unified dashboard view for all your connected cloud systems (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), enabling end-to-end visibility into capacity, classification, and security posture.

Key Capabilities

  • Integrate infrastructure providers: Connect popular platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP, MongoDB Atlas, Heroku, Oracle Cloud, and more.

  • Assign infrastructure owners: Delegate responsibility to designated stakeholders who are accountable for resolving compliance issues.

  • Auto-discover infra entities: Retrieve resources from connected systems and monitor them for misconfigurations or policy violations.

  • Classify infrastructure entities: Mark entities as Production, Not Production, or Unclassified to define monitoring scope.

  • Resolve infrastructure checks: Review failing or pending checks and act using linked remediation steps or workflow evidence.

  • Configure workflow checks: Add automated or manual checks to validate security baselines for infrastructure resources.

  • Monitor infrastructure health: Use the Monitoring tab to track check statuses, ownership, evidence collection, and integrations.

Use Cases

Scenario

How Infrastructure Helps

A new AWS account needs to be added to Sprinto.

Use the Add Infra System option and follow on-screen setup instructions.

You want to monitor whether encryption is enabled on S3 buckets.

Sprinto auto-creates a check and flags any misconfigured buckets.

A team member should be responsible for all Azure compliance tasks.

Assign them as Infra Owner for the Azure account.

You want to track whether backup policies are enforced.

Add a workflow check for "Database backup is done regularly" and assign it to the responsible team.

An entity processes customer data and must be monitored for encryption.

Manually classify the entity as Production to enforce security controls.
