# Atera Integration

Atera is a cloud-based IT management platform designed for Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and IT professionals. It offers a suite of tools and features for remotely monitoring, managing, and supporting IT infrastructure and networks.

enforce your organization's device management policy. This includes crucial details such as the operating system's current version, storage encryption status, antivirus installation, etc. If any required configurations are not met on a device, Sprinto initiates a check against the staff member and only passes once the device configuration is updated and reported.

#### Sprinto checks for Atera <a href="#sprinto-checks-for-atera" id="sprinto-checks-for-atera"></a>

Following are the available Sprinto checks for Atera integration:

### Before you begin <a href="#before-you-begin" id="before-you-begin"></a>

* Log in on Sprinto as administrator.
* Ensure your Atera account is on a “Premium” subscription plan to build this integration.
* Ensure you have “Admin” access on the Atera account you are integrating on Sprinto.&#x20;

### Integrate Sprinto with Atera <a href="#integrate-sprinto-with-atera" id="integrate-sprinto-with-atera"></a>

Follow the below steps to integrate Atera on Sprinto:

1. Get the API token from your Atera account.

* Log in to [Atera](https://auth.atera.com/u/login/identifier?state=hKFo2SBoOFFzTGFLZjRqcUJuRWg0NnRiT0EtZVJPVS1TT3RTYqFur3VuaXZlcnNhbC1sb2dpbqN0aWTZIFFwelNadEhKNmx4Rzd4QlczVmpHSUpaY2hRbTlvN0dko2NpZNkgSGJjWFptT09ZYjVZVHRoOVZFdGhLZzlhMDU2T1FTOHA) using your credentials.
* Go to the [Admin section](https://app.atera.com/new/admin) from the Atera console.
* Select API under the Services option.
* Copy the API key and save it securely. We will need this key on Sprinto to build the integration.

2. Integrate Atera on Sprinto.

* Go to **Settings** > **Integrations** > **Available**, and click Connect next to Atera.

* Read the on-screen instructions, and click Next.<br>

* Enter the API key copied from Step 1, and click Connect.

3. Add Atera as a device management tool.

* On the Sprinto app, go to **Data Library** > **Staff devices** > **Overview**, and click Add MDM.
* Click Add next to Atera. You can find “Connected” highlighted if Step 1 was performed successfully.
* Follow the on-screen instructions, and add Atera on Sprinto.

Atera is now connected and configured on Sprinto. Go to **Data Library** > **Staff Devices** and click Atera to review your staff members' reported device status.
