# Cisco Meraki Integration

The following guide helps you integrate and configure Cisco Meraki with Sprinto for user access management. Based on your use case, you can follow the applicable procedure.

### How does this integration help

The integration helps sprinto in the following ways:

* Access management: The integration enhances user access control by validating user accounts from Cisco Meraki against defined access criteria. Sprinto identifies and flags any unauthorized or invalid access, triggering checks to revoke inappropriate permissions and maintain system security.

#### Sprinto checks for Cisco Meraki

Below are the Sprinto checks for the following integration types:&#x20;

* Access management: Sprinto checks for users' access monitoring

### Before you begin

* Log in on Sprinto as administrator.
* Ensure you have administrator access to the Cisco Meraki account to grant Sprinto the necessary permissions.

Integrate Sprinto with Cisco Meraki

Follow the below applicable procedure based on your usage of Cisco Meraki:

#### Access management:

Note: [Truto](https://www.truto.one/) is our integration partner for Cisco Meraki for user access monitoring.

1. Get the API key from the Cisco Meraki account.

* Log in to the [Cisco Meraki](https://account.meraki.com/login) account using your credentials or the available Single Sign-On (SSO) option.
* Generate an API token from your Cisco Meraki account. For detailed instructions, refer to [Cisco Meraki documentation](https://meraki-cli.readthedocs.io/en/latest/getting-your-api-key/).

2. Integrate Cisco Meraki on Sprinto.

* On the Sprinto app, go to Settings > Integrations > Available, and click Connect next to Cisco Meraki.

* Read the on-screen instructions, and click Next.<br>

* On the Integration page, select the acknowledgment checkbox and click Connect Cisco Meraki.<br>

* Enter the API Key from Step 1, then select your Cisco Meraki account’s Base URL. Click Connect.<br>

3. Configure Cisco Meraki for access monitoring.

* From the Sprinto admin portal, navigate to Data Library > Access, select the Overview tab, and click + Add Critical System.
* Select Cisco Meraki from the critical system library, then click Add Systems. “Connected” is highlighted next to Cisco Meraki if integration was built successfully in the previous step.<br>

* On the [Access Overview](https://app.sprinto.com/app/admin/accessControl/overview) page, select Cisco Meraki from the critical systems list.
* Click Configure Now or Manage from the Summary tab.<br>

* Click Configure or Edit next to Access monitoring.<br>
