Endpoint Central Integration

Endpoint Central is a Mobile Device Management (MDM) tool designed to manage and secure mobile devices such as smartphones, tablets, and laptops. It allows administrators to remotely configure settings, enforce security policies, distribute applications, and perform other management tasks across a fleet of devices.

How does this integration help Sprinto

The integration primarily helps Sprinto retrieve your staff members' device configurations and ensure that your organization's device management policy is enforced. This includes crucial details such as the operating system's current version, storage encryption status, antivirus installation, and more. If any of these required configurations are not met on a device, Sprinto initiates a check against the staff member and only passes once the device configuration is updated and reported.

Sprinto checks for Endpoint central

Following are the checks offered by Sprinto for the Endpoint central MDM tool:

Sprinto check
Required action

Disk encryption should be enabled on staff device

The check gets activated against a staff member if their device storage is not encrypted.

To fix this check, a staff member needs to enable encryption on their device storage and report the device status using the Endpoint Central tool.

Device OS should be upto date on staff device

The check gets activated against a staff member if their device is running on an outdated operating system (OS) version. To fix this check, a staff member needs to update the device operating system with the latest available OS version and report the device status using the Endpoint Central tool.
