How_to_mark_a_Sprinto_check_as_a_Special_case
Marking checks as a special case is not a regular compliance activity in Sprinto, but it can be helpful when a specific Sprinto check is irrelevant to your organization’s operations or when it is impossible to complete the required actions to pass the check.
When you mark a check as a special case, Sprinto sets its status to “Passing” for a defined period. The instances are collected under the special case category along with added remarks and uploaded evidence, aiding in evidence segregation during compliance audits.
Before you begin
Log in to the Sprinto admin portal using your credentials.
Marking check as a special case
Navigate to any pending Sprinto check from any compliance area. You can find pending checks under the Pending tasks tab.
From the Checks details page, click Mark as a special case from the Special Cases section.
Select or add the following details to define the special case:
Reason: From the drop-down menu, select an appropriate reason to define the special case.
Additional Notes: Include your remarks to define the reason for marking the check as a special case.
Upload Evidence (Optional): You can upload a supporting document if required.
Expiry: Select Valid forever to keep the selected check as a special case for future instances, or you can select an expiry date to keep the check as a special case till the defined date.
Review your selections, then click Mark as Special Case to apply the changes.
