How_to_Add_New_Check_on_Sprinto
About:
The following procedure describes how to add a new workflow check on Sprinto’s change management section. This check helps to ensure that necessary process requirements are met periodically and collect the manual evidence against those processes to pass the security compliance audit.
Prerequisites:
Logged in on Sprinto as an administrator.
Procedure:
Step 1. Navigate to Security Hub > Change mgmt, then click on Overview tab.
Step 2. Click on + Add workflow check.
Step 3. Select a check from the list of available checks to configure it, then click on Enable.
Note: You can configure all other workflow checks following the same procedure. There is no restriction on the number of configured workflow checks.
Step 4. If required, click on Edit to modify the check details.
Change the following details, if required:
Description: This section describes the purpose of the workflow check.
Check frequency: This section specifies how often the check should be activated.
Responsible person: The assigned stakeholder responsible for running the workflow check.
Instructions: This section specifies the instructions for running the check and submitting evidence for the check's run.
Activation date: Select a date for workflow check activation.
Evidence review: This section specifies whether submitted evidence needs to be reviewed.
Review the check details, then click on Save changes.
Step 5. Review the check details thoroughly, and toggle the switch if the submitted evidence requires a review through this workflow check.
Step 6. Click on Enable check.
Result:
On successful addition of new check, you can find the newly added workflow check on the change mgmt section.
