How to configure and resolve Sprinto workflow check for configuring file integrity technologies

A change detection system sends an alert in case any unauthorized modification gets pushed to the hosted repositories, critical system files, configuration files, or content files. Tools like file integrity monitoring detect the changes before merging them to the source. These tools also perform periodic critical file comparisons to detect changes.

Sprinto's workflow check helps you to collect the evidence for implementing such file integrity tools in the organization. This collected evidence is later used in the data security compliance audit to meet the compliance requirements.

Before you begin

Log in on Sprinto as administrator.

Configuring workflow check

  1. Go to Security Hub > Workflow Checks.

  2. Click on Add Workflow Check.

  3. Locate Review of File integrity technologies in the workflow checklist, and click Enable.

  4. On the Add Workflow Check page, click Edit to adjust the check frequency and assign personnel or configure an evidence reviewer if necessary. Note: The default frequency for the workflow check is every six months. You can customize the frequency as per your requirements.

  5. Click Enable check.
