How to Configure and Resolve Sprinto Workflow Check for Performance Evaluation for Staff
Performance evaluation is a critical organisational process used to assess employee productivity, achievements, and overall contribution to company objectives. Conducting these evaluations periodically helps identify strengths, areas of improvement, and training opportunities, while also guiding promotion, compensation, and succession planning decisions.
Sprinto’s Performance Evaluation for Staff workflow check ensures that staff performance assessments are conducted regularly and that evidence of completed evaluations is properly recorded for audit and compliance purposes.
Before You Begin
Ensure that you:
Have Administrator access to your Sprinto account.
Have access to HR or performance evaluation reports for the current review cycle.
Know your organisation’s evaluation frequency (e.g., annually, semi-annually).
Configuring the Workflow Check
Log in to your Sprinto account as an Administrator.
Navigate to Data Library → Workflow Checks.

Click Create Check → Add from Template.
Locate Performance evaluation for staff and click Enable.
On the Add Workflow Check page, click Edit to:
Define the evaluation frequency (default: every 12 months).
Assign the responsible HR or Department Lead.
Click Add Check.

Once enabled, the check status will show as Due, Critical, or Failing until evaluation evidence is uploaded.
Resolving the Check

Log in to the Sprinto Admin Portal.
Navigate to Data Library → Workflow Checks.
Select Performance Evaluation for Staff from the list.
Click Upload Evidence.
Provide the Evidence Record Date, then attach one or more of the following:
File Upload: HR reports, performance review forms, or summary sheets.
Link Upload: Secure links to HR systems or performance management tools (e.g., BambooHR, Rippling, or internal evaluation sheets).
Click Save.

Sprinto will automatically mark the check as Passing once the evidence is verified.
Evidence Requirements
Provide one or more of the following as valid evidence:
Completed performance evaluation forms for staff.
KPI summaries or review reports exported from the HR system.
Signed performance review acknowledgment documents.
Screenshots or extracts from HR tools confirming completed evaluations.
Ensure evidence includes:
Employee name and role.
Evaluation period or review date.
Evaluator’s name or HR reviewer.
Frequency
The default evaluation cycle is annual, but you can update this to semi-annual or quarterly depending on your organisation’s HR policy.
Notes
When uploading evaluation data, exclude sensitive personal information such as salary or disciplinary notes.
Ensure performance evaluations cover all in-scope staff for compliance readiness.
Use the foundational template for simple reviews and the comprehensive template for detailed performance assessments.
