# How To Resolve Sprinto Check For Access Requests Assignee

### About

Sprinto check: Access request ticket should have an assignee

The above Sprinto check starts failing if a critical system with the user access validity set as ticket-based access has an unassigned access request ticket.

### Purpose

The purpose of the check is to ensure that all access request tickets are assigned to a relevant stakeholder for a shorter resolution time, hence meeting the compliance SLA. An unassigned access ticket could lead to access remaining with an unauthorized staff member, increasing the security risk factor for critical systems.

### Procedure

Assign the relevant stakeholder to the access request tickets for the configured ticketing system. Sprinto detects the changes and sets the check status to “Passing.” Ensure all access tickets have an assignee.

### Support

Please get in touch with our [support team](mailto:www.support@sprinto.com) if you have any queries related to the Sprinto check or need any assistance.
